network maps

These maps give analytical data on the major road network of Mainland Britain, using a schematic map to display various bits of useful information.

For the purposes of these maps, motorways and high-quality dual-carriageway A-Roads which are seen as being strategically important to the national network are shown. The "all-purpose" A-Roads which are shown have either very few or no junctions which are not grade separated - this means that there must be an overwhelming majority of motorway-style junctions present.
