2011 is a year of anniversaries, and the biggest of which is the M25, which recently celebrated its quarter century.

To celebrate the milestone, this week's update is a special feature giving a look back on how London's orbital motorway came to be.

There are also a few minor amendments to correct a few errors following the site's recent redesign.
